CSA Week Seven

The drought continues to take its toll on our farmers...but look at the beautiful food they have still managed to grow & harvest for us!  I am so grateful for their efforts.

This week we get to feast on kale, Swiss chard, carrots, red potatoes, eggs, Indian spinach, garlic scapes, onion, & cucumber.

The spinach is an heirloom variety with thick, almost leathery leaves.  I think I will chop it finely and use it to make curried potatoes & spinach.  Mmm!
